Sigal Barsade, Ph.D. is a Professor, at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, before that she was a Professor with the Yale School of Management for 10 years. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Industrial Relations, from the University of California, Berkeley. Sigal has published over 40 articles, book chapters, case studies and proceedings. Her’ 2002 Article, “The Ripple Effect: Emotional Contagion and its Influence on Group Behavior.” was recognized as one of the most cited papers in the research area of “mood contagion” by Thompson Reuters’ Essential Science Indicators.
